CLASSES
 All
our classes are themed and include songs, percussion instruments,
visuals and props. They are fun, stimulating and educational and we
adhere strictly to the Jo Jingles safety guidelines.
Parents/carers remain with their children throughout the sessions
and are actively involved with their child, encouraging them to get
the full benefit of the class. Have a look at our schedule to find
a class in your area. |
Babies (Aged 6 months - walking)
The baby class just love shaking and tapping instruments such as bells
and maracas. They might dabble with ducks in a bowl of water during
mat time or enjoy being on Mum's knees, all to the accompanying music.
Babies need to bring a mat/rug and a soft toy eg Teddy.
1 - 2 years
This age group have lots of action songs to keep them on the move
and are introduced to instruments with beaters - noisy but fun.
2 - 4 years
This class is very enjoyable as we see the children grow. They learn
about playing loudly, quietly etc. The 1-3 years classes include aspects
of both the 1-2 and 2-4 sessions.
3 - 5 years
These children are introduced to different styles of music and the
very early stages of music theory in a fun way. They often have a
colouring-in sheet for homework. It is a very good opportunity to
help prepare your child for Nursery or P 1. |
DAY NURSERIES
We can arrange weekly visits to your nursery and plan programmes around
your themes. Babies from 6 months all the way up to pre-school age
have a variety of songs appropriate to their stage of development.
They all have the opportunity to play a variety of percussion instruments
and use props such as wings, streamers and beanbags. Jo Jingles can
be a welcome visitor in a busy day for your carers. |
PLAYGROUPS AND NURSERIES
These can be arranged for half-termly or termly visits. We provide
instruments and props for all children and try to link in with your
theme. Homework/follow-up sheets are left, building on the skills
introduced by Jo Jingles such as loud and soft, fast and slow, high
and low. |
BIRTHDAY PARTIES
Why not have a Jo Jingle birthday party for your child if aged between
1 and 5 years old? Parents/Carers join in too having fun with streamers
and jelly-on-a-plate! |
