I first came across Jo Jingles while looking for a music class to take my young daughter along to. I discovered there were no classes running in my local area so it seemed like the perfect opportunity to combine my two favourite things music and working with children. In January 2007 I took on the Aberdeen franchise and so far its been fantastic!! |
WHAT IS JO JINGLES
 Jo Jingles is the UK's leading provider of music and movement classes for pre-school children aged 6 months - 7 years. Nationally we have been running as a franchise for 10 years and our aim is to give children an enjoyable and creative introduction to music through a wide variety of activities.
For the younger children (6 months - 2 years) these activities include nursery rhymes, action songs, music & movement, sound and rhythm games and playing musical instruments. The classes have an educational slant and cover some of the basic pre-school concepts of numbers, the alphabet, shapes, colours etc.
Older children also benefit from all the above activities as well as enjoying a gradual introduction to pitch, rhythm, dynamics, notation, instruments of the orchestra and musical notes. Jo Jingles classes for 3-7 year olds achieve many of the National Curriculum requirements for key stage 1.
Parents/carers stay with their children to share in the fun and help them get the most out of the classes.
