Hello, I'm Jackie Thornton and I have run Jo Jingles classes in Ascot, Bracknell and surrounding areas since 1997. I am a busy working mum and love music and dance. I trained as a classical dancer many years ago and have performed in lots of musicals with a local amateur dramatics society. At Jo Jingles I am helped by Kay and Beverley and we all believe that Jo Jingles classes are a fantastic, fun and educational way to introduce children to music. Classes are structured but the emphasis is on having fun - the children learn quicker this way!

Can you buzz like a bee, wiggle like a worm,
flutter like a butterfly or crawl like a caterpillar?

How it works

Children from just 6 months can benefit from an early introduction to music and in our age-specific classes (from 6 months up to 5 years) we use action songs, nursery rhymes, moving to music and playing percussion instruments to great effect helping children with the development of their speech, confidence and self-expression.

Parents/carers sit with their child/ren and join in. This gives the children confidence and encourages enthusiasm. Music helps a child in many aspects of their development from language and numeracy to balance, co-ordination and social skills. Our class programmes are designed to be specific to each individual age group and are fast moving so there's no chance of the children becoming bored.

I hope you will find all the information you need about Jo Jingles and our classes in this website but you can also contact me by email or phone on 01344 484473.

Please have a look and see if there are classes at times to suit you and if you would like to reserve a place, download a registration form and post it to me at the address on the form. I will then contact you regarding availability.
