Hi there! My name is Lucy and along with my teachers Lindsay and Jenni, I run Jo Jingles Bishops Stortford, Harlow, Epping and the surrounding areas. We have classes running Monday - Friday in different areas so please check our class timetable to find out the most suitable class for you and your little one!!!!

You can read a little more about us on our Meet the Team page.

Parachute in classJo Jingles was started in 1991 by Gill Thomas, and the company became a franchise in 1995. To date, there are almost 90 individual franchisees running classes throughout the UK. This in turn means that there are more than 25,000 children attending classes on a weekly basis.

Jo Jingles' classes are now endorsed by speech therapists, health visitors, educational consultants and government - funded early year's organisations.

Painted facesIn 2003 myself and my sister Jo launched Jo Jingles Bishops Stortford and in our first year, 2004, we won 'New Franchisee of the Year', which we were extremely proud of.

After five successful years together, Jo has decided to pursue a career as a Manager at a local children’s playcentre and so I am taking on the business on my own.

Currently I have many classes running plus nursery sessions and a play centre too. The classes are fun and educational at the same time. We run age specific classes from 3 months - 9 months, 9 months to under 2's, over 2's and 3 - 5 years. Music has been proved to enhance a child's development through song, as all of the material we use will help children learn numbers, colours, animals, shapes and even the time! We also teach them social skills such as interacting with other children and within the songs we use everyday skills like brushing their teeth or washing their hands.

The older children also get a lot out of the classes as they start to learn about musical notation, different genres of music such as classical and opera, as well as different instruments, rhythms and pitch.

We love teaching our classes come along and Join in the fun!!
