Hello, we’re Maggie and Louise - mother and daughter, and we run the Brentwood franchise of Jo Jingles, with the help of Anne our Billericay teacher. We all believe that Jo Jingles classes are a great, educational, FUN way to introduce children to music. They can start as young as six months and continue until they go to school, giving them a fantastic head start into the wonderful world of music.
Music helps a child in many aspects of their development from language and numeracy, to balance, co-ordination and social skills. Our classes are designed to be specific to each individual age group and are fast moving so there is little danger of them becoming bored. We use action songs, nursery rhymes, moving to music and percussion instruments to great effect, helping with the development of their speech, self confidence and self-expression.
We hope you will find the information on this website interesting and helpful. You will find details of all our classes to help you decide which day would suit you best. Hi I'm Maggie I am a very experienced class teacher in my seventh year with Jo Jingles, having previously worked for the Chelmsford franchise before buying Brentwood with my daughter Louise in 2006.
I have a very musical background having performed with a local amateur musical society for many years. I am also a qualified dance teacher. I love all the children and get rather attached to them. I’m always sad when they leave to go to school, but its great when they come back and see me at a class that their younger brother or sister is attending.

Hi, I’m Louise and run Jo Jingles Brentwood with my mum Maggie. I am married with 3 young children, with little Dylan only 7 months. Rather than go back to my old job as a PA in the City, I felt I wanted to run a small business that fitted around my family, so the opportunity to work alongside my mum was just what I was looking for. Unlike Maggie, I am therefore relatively new to teaching but as my son Jack attended classes for 3 years before going to school, lots of the songs were already familiar to me and I settled into the teaching role very quickly. I really enjoy it and seeing a shy child blossom into a confident one, often only after a few weeks, is fantastic and very rewarding. I also love music, singing and dancing.

Hi, I’m Anne. Having always loved being with children, I had no difficulty in choosing my career. I became a teacher and worked in Inner London teaching in a primary school until I left to have my own family.
I have 4 children ranging from 15 - 23 years and live with my husband in Stock, where we are involved in village life, especially in our local church. I was a “full time mum” for 15 years until my youngest started school when I worked at New Hall Prep as a supply teacher for a number of years. Last year I felt ready for a new challenge and as I am musical, playing the piano and singing, I leapt at the chance of working with Jo Jingles.
