Hello, I'm Cheryl Rule (yes, I'm the one on the right!) I
run classes all around Cambridge. You can read
a little about me lower down on this page.
With the help of Sam Marshall, I run 19 classes in the area and
also 1 nursery.

About Cheryl
I first got interested in Jo Jingles when I started taking my daughter
Kimberley to classes when she was just over 1 year old at the beginning
of 2000.
She (and I) loved going, although to start with she wouldn't really
join in, but as soon as we got back to the car she would start clapping
or mimicking some of the actions that we had done, and as time progressed
I could see her confidence grow and her love for anything musical
flourish.
Then when I found out in January 2001 that the franchisee was looking
for a class teacher, I thought "why not" I wanted something part time
that would fit in with when Kimberley went to nursery and then school
and that would also give me the school holidays at home with her,
so I applied, got the job, and started my training in March 2001,
and then started my own classes in September 2001, and I can honestly
say I have loved every minute of it.
So when the franchisee decided to sell the franchise, the only sensible
thing I could do was BUY IT, and I took over in July 2004, and employed
Sam Marshall, who has been bringing her son to one of my classes,
as my class teacher, so that we can continue with the 15 classes already
running and 4 new classes in the area and also 1 nursery with the
hope of expanding in the new year.
Prior to Jo Jingles and the birth of Kimberley in 1998 I worked for
Philips radio communications in Cambridge for 10 years in the customer
services department. |
