Jo Jingles was started in 1991 and the company became a franchise in 1995. To date, there are almost 90 individual franchisees running classes throughout the UK. I brought my Jo Jingles Franchise is 2003 and ran 6 classes a week, this has grown over the past few years to 38 classes a week and I now have three excellent class teachers who work with me to run these additional classes. I have two young girls (Annabelle aged 4 & Georgia aged 6) who act as my "quality controllers" for Jo Jingles. Before running Jo Jingles I spent 10 years in Human Resources focusing on recruitment, management training and development.

Our classes

Jo Jingles classes are run for children between the ages of six months to 5 years and our classes are endorsed by speech therapists, health visitors, educational consultants and government-funded early years organisations.

The classes are planned specifically with the child's developmental age in mind. We don't expect the impossible from children who attend our classes (yes, bashing a tambourine does count as playing an instrument!). Programmes are carefully written considering educational points as well as lots of fun activities. Our creative music-making classes incorporate singing, movement, playing instruments and listening. Children in the 3 – 4 year age group are still having fun but are being introduced to music as an overall subject, learning about the 4 basic notes, rhythm, pitch, classical music and group work. They often go on to learn a musical instrument at an earlier age because of this.

Come and see us at Family Fun in the Park Day

On Sunday 27th July from 12:00 till 17:30 we will be participating in this great day of interactive activities, challenges, live shows, music, inflatables, wacky walkabout performers, animals and lots more. It is all happening at Gloucester Park and is free! See you there.

WHAT OUR CUSTOMERS SAY

Mrs Laverack - Stroud Classes

I had heard a lot about Jo Jingles through friends and I decided to join the Stroud Class with Virginia. I can't tell you how much fun my little toddler (... and I) have when she is there. Virginia is simply fantastic and makes the class very exciting. I really like the different themes, the range of equipment and material used to help develop motor/sensory skills. More of the same please!

Charlotte Keyte

Thank you for all your hard work and for making Jo Jingles so enjoyable. It is such an important part of Alice's week. She just loves Jo Jingles and we sing the songs all the time at home and it is the only cd we play in the car!
