Hi! I’m Gillian Moxen

Welcome to my Jo Jingles classes in Antrim, Ballyclare, Ballymena, Carrickfergus & Larne

Hi, I have now been a Jo Jingles teacher for over 6 years.

I am a mum of three and worked as a class teacher for Jo Jingles before taking on the local franchise. I really enjoy all the classes that I run from the parent classes to working with Nursery schools, playgroups and Day Nurseries.

I previously worked full time in a Building Society when my older two children were small and when we moved to Co Antrim I took a career break and enjoyed being at home with my children. This led me to take up childminding which I did for 4...

I previously worked full time in a Building Society when my older two children were small and when we moved to Co Antrim I took a career break and enjoyed being at home with my children. This led me to take up childminding which I did for 4 years until we moved again to Antrim.

Music has always been a big part of my life from early childhood singing solos and in the school choirs. I learnt the piano at an early age and took this to grade 4.

Working for Jo Jingles has given me the opportunity to combine music, my experience with children and my desire to work more flexibly. Running the Antrim Franchise is challenging and rewarding and I have a great team in my other two class teachers.

He is extremely friendly and actively participates in all of our classes. At the start of each session he welcomes all children with a smile, a wave and a cuddle. Then he might sing or dance or pretend to be a train driver, a monkey or even a teapot.

Sometimes he hides and we have to look for him. Sometimes he falls asleep and he needs some help to wake up. Sometimes he is shy and we have to encourage him to join in with the fun. But he always makes time for plenty of hugs and kisses when it’s time for the children to say goodbye.

We love music at our nursery and it's so important for young children to express themselves through rhythm and rhyme. It's a lift to us all to have a fresh face coming in with the familiar routine that little ones love. Keep up the Jingling!

We have enjoyed a programme of music and movement with Jo Jingles for two terms.
It has been a great experience for our children and we have been aware of the programme developing through each session covering different topics.
The variety of musical instruments and props added another dimension to the rhymes, songs and actions.
Lisa has a lovely relaxed manner and a natural rapport with the children, which helps to gain their confidence and keep their attention throughout the session.
The Children look forward to their visit from Jo Jingles and Lisa every week, and the staff appreciate her professionalism and the variety of activities she provides.

Gillian Moxen has been delivering our Jo Jingles programme for four years. She has a fantastic ability to relate to the children at their level and anticipates their reactions and behaviour extremely intuitively.
She has a very warm, welcoming approach in her work with the children and they respond naturally and spontaneously to her.
Each session is extremely well structured, is delivered very professionally and Gillian engages the children extremely well, keeping them motivated and on task for the whole session. The children look forward to her visits and will regularly ask staff when the next one will be.
I consider the Jo Jingles experience to be a valuable addition to our curricular programme in Ballyclare Nursery School and I would wholeheartedly recommend and endorse Gillian’s delivery of it.

Over the past 3/4 years, I have introduced my nursery class to the music and movement experience of Jo Jingles. Being extremely musical myself, I found this activity to be very educational (covers a wide range of ‘The Arts’ knowledge and skill based curriculum area of the NI Curriculum) and very age appropriate. I found Gillian (music coordinator), to be professional in all aspects of her work, organised (has taken a copy of my themes for the year and organised songs and musical activities based around them), efficient, fun and motivational when delivering this musical programme. For myself and my class of children, we thoroughly enjoy Jo Jingles coming to our nursery and look forward to it every month. I would highly recommend this musical experience to any group that teaches nursery aged children. Thank you Gillian.

Dear Jinglers Everywhere,

Due to the ongoing Coronavirus situation and guidelines provided by the Government and Public Health England* ( & all other relevant Regional Public Health agencies) our customers and class teacher safety and well-being is absolutely paramount.

Sadly, in view of the most recent news and recommendations Jo Jingles classes are now TEMPORARILY CLOSED in ALL areas.

However, you can still enjoy Jo Jingles @ Home – many of our Jingle areas are now offering fun online music sessions so contact your local Jo Jingles representative for further details either via Facebook or https://www.jojingles.com/find-class

If there’s not one available in your area at this time do take a look online to see where you can join another online session in our Network https://www.jojingles.com/find-class.

During this very difficult time we want to support families at home and provide some musical fun and entertainment for children.

If you would like to also stock up on musical goodies to accompany the sessions visit Jo’s Shop at https://www.jojingles.com/shop – it’s business as usual, at this time, for all online orders received.

This situation is evolving rapidly, and we will keep you updated if things change but in the meantime we are continuing to follow all necessary health and safety guidelines.

We’ll also shortly be announcing some NEW and exciting Jingle products too!

We will really miss all of our lovely ‘jinglers’ but hope to see you & all your friends again very soon,

A huge THANK YOU for your ongoing support.

Keep safe and please do not hesitate to contact us if you have any queries.

Best wishes

Jo Jingles xx
