What Does Jo Jingles Do?

Jo Jingles teaches children to play percussion instruments expressively, to sing songs, and find the rhythm to move and dance to.  Most importantly children (and adults), have lots of fun!  Each weekly, 45 minute class is carefully structured to ensure the programme is suited to the specific age group of children in the class.

Different educational themes are introduced each week and are reinforced by the use of visuals, props, action songs and nursery rhymes.  Experienced presenters, namely myself and Claire (and of course Jo), run the classes in a friendly and informal manner and rely upon participation from enthusiastic parents and carers!

Benefits of Jo Jingles for Young Children

Through Jo Jingles music classes you will be helping your child to improve their co-ordination, develop language and numeracy skills, understand routine and discipline, boost confidence and independence, and develop social skills through interaction with the other children.

"Children who learn to sing and play together are more likely to lead successful lives than those who receive a more disciplined education"

Dr Kathy Silva, Educational Psychologist, Oxford University
