Hi my name is Sarah and, along with my class teachers Lucy and Nina, run Jo Jingles classes across West Sussex 5 days a week, with venues in Haywards Heath, Billingshurst, Southwater, Horsham, Crawley & Ashington!

Having previously attended classes with my own two children, I was very keen to take on the opportunity of running Jo Jingles locally so that others could benefit from the special time that attending our classes allows parents/carers and their children. WHAT IS JO JINGLES?

Established in 1991, Jo Jingles is the leading provider of interactive music and movement classes for children aged between 6 months and 5 years. Our aim is to give children an enjoyable and creative introduction to music through a wide variety of activities. Quality props and visuals help capture young imaginations and ensure every 45 minute Jo Jingles session is filled with fun and excitement as well as being educational!

These activities include nursery rhymes, action songs, music & movement, sound and rhythm games and playing musical instruments. The classes cover some of the basic pre-school concepts of numbers, the alphabet, shapes, colours etc.

Older children additionally benefit from a gradual introduction to pitch, rhythm, dynamics, notation, instruments of the orchestra and musical notes. This is supported by fun “homework” activity sheets. Jo Jingles classes for 3-7 year olds achieve many of the National Curriculum requirements for key stage 1.

Most importantly, Jo Jingles classes provide quality time for parent/ carer and child together and are lots of FUN!
