Hi, I am Sara Beevers and i run Jo Jingles classes in Retford, Bawtry, Gainsborough and in and around Lincoln, wonderfully assisted by my Class Teacher, Jayne and our trusty friend Jo!

I have always enjoyed being around children and up until buying my franchise was a Childminder in Retford looking after children aged from 6 months to 14 years!

From a young age I loved singing and dancing and performing on stage so to be able to work with children and sing and dance at the same time has to be my dream job!

What is Jo Jingles

Jo Jingles is the UK’s leading provider of music and movement for children aged 6 months to 5 years. There are over 25,000 children attending a Jo Jingles session every week.

The highly established group offers successful programmes which give babies and toddlers a fun introduction to music through the use of songs, nursery rhymes, movement, dance and percussion instruments.

The 45 minute classes are age specific and are held weekly during school term time. Over the course of a term the children will play tambourines, maracas, drums, cymbals, claves, bells and more! During the class we play 2 instruments and all the children will have the same instrument!

A number of the songs we use will be familiar but we also use a variety of other material, some of which has been written specifically for Jo Jingles. To add to the enjoyment we use a number of visual aids such as a parachute and balls, pom poms, bubbles and many, many more!

How to join Jo Jingles

Please have a look at my timetable which will give you details of venues and times of classes. Classes are run during term-time and payment is made in advance on a half-termly basis (normally a 5 – 7 week block).

We run established music and movement classes for pre-school children in the local area, and are looking for an individual with a good singing voice and enthusiasm for working with young children to join the team.
The position will involve leading weekly music and movement sessions 45 minutes in length and presenting to groups of up to 15 children and their carers. You will need to have the confidence to sing and present to groups and the ability to engage with young children. The position will involve some local travelling, access to a car is therefore essential.
