The Maidenhead Advertiser recently ran a feature on one of Local Franchisee, Val Chandler's music and movement sessions which took place at the Library in Institute Road, Marlow.

The event was part of the Library's Summer Reading Voyage which encourages children to read throughout the holidays.

Claire Lambert, our Jo Jingles franchisee who currently runs 46 weekly classes throughout Kent, recently organised a charity performance of Peter And The Wolf at Tonbridge Baptist Church to introduce pre-school children to the experience of a live orchestra. The concert also raised £1,775 for the Stillbirth and Neonatal Death Society.
"It was the first time a concert had been organised for children as young as three and four. It was magnificent and all who attended had a great time."
The capacity audience of 400 was entertained by music from the Harry Potter film score, and by composers such as Strauss and Prokofiev. The music was performed by Tonbridge Philharmonic Orchestra, conducted by Robin Morrish.
The event was such a great hit that Claire is already organising another concert for 2005.
