Welcome to our site all about Jo Jingles in your area

Hi my name is Laura and I run classes in Bramhall, Cheadle, Marple, Poynton and Wilmslow.

Jo Jingles provides a fun and educational introduction to music, singing and movement for children from the age of 6 months to 5 years

I have worked with Jo Jingles as a class teacher for 2 years and I loved it so much that when the opportunity came along to run my own classes I jumped at the chance and now here I am!! Read more about me below.

About Me

Since I was a young teenager I knew I wanted to work with children, so when I left school I went to college and did my National Diploma in Early Childhood Studies. I then went on to do my Higher National Certificate in the same subject.

I worked at Holly Grange Montessori Nursery in Stockport for 2 years and whilst I was there I met ‘Jo Jingles’ who ran classes in the nursery. The children loved it and so did I - it was fantastic to see the way the classes helped the children with so many important aspects of their development, and because they have so much fun they don’t even realise they are learning!

I was very lucky to be offered a job as a class teacher for Jo Jingles in South Manchester and I did this for 2 years. As you can imagine when I heard about the fantastic opportunity to run my own classes and business doing something I love I jumped at the chance!

What is Jo Jingles???

Jo Jingles provides a fun and educational introduction to music, singing and movement for children from the age of 6 months to 5 years

At Jo Jingles we play a very important part in children’s development. In the classes we have so much fun playing our instruments, dancing and singing to some of our favourite songs, using streamers, balls, bubbles and many more exciting activities that the children don’t even realise they are learning,

Throughout the classes the children learn new skills and improve their knowledge and understanding in many important areas of their development.

Each class lasts 45 minutes and during that time children have lots of fun, singing and dancing to many different songs including well known nursery rhymes. They learn how to play a variety of percussion instruments and have fun with different props in every class such as, streamers, teddies, bubbles, balls and the much loved parachute plus many more.

Parents do need to stay with the children and are encouraged to join in. The more the parents join in the more the child will get out of the class and sometimes its hard to see who is enjoying themselves the most - the parents or the children!!!!

Jo Jingles has been with us for over 10 years now and it is so popular that there are more and more classes being opened up all the time around the UK and Ireland.

How to Join

If you would like to bring your child along to one of our classes, you will need to choose a class that you would like to attend and then either email me at laurajingles@hotmail.com or contact me on 0161 431 0674 to check availability and book onto the class.

You will also need to fill out and print a registration form and bring it along with you to your first class.

Siblings are given a reduced rate when bringing both children to the classes just ask for more information.

When bringing 2 children who both fit into different aged classes it is recommended you come to the class which your oldest child will fit into that way the older child can join in with less input from a parent/guardian and the younger child can have the help they may need.
