Who we are and what we do
Established in 1991, Jo Jingles is the leading provider of interactive music and movement classes for children aged 6 mths – 5 years.
Our age-specific classes are structured and themed and introduce children to music and singing through fun activities including nursery rhymes, action songs, music & movement, sound and rhythm games and playing musical instruments. Quality props and visuals help capture young imaginations and ensure every 45 minute Jo Jingles session is filled with fun and excitement as well as being educational!
As children progress and develop with Jo they will be introduced to a wider variety of musical styles and to the basics of music theory including rhythm, dynamics and pitch, supported by fun “homework” activity sheets.
Most importantly, Jo Jingles classes provide quality time for parent/ carer and child together and are lots of FUN!

About Me.........
With a degree in maths and music, I originally trained to be a maths teacher, but left teaching behind and have latterly been working in the field of recruitment.
Music has always played a huge part in my life. I play piano and violin and have played and sang in a number of orchestras and choirs. I currently teach piano and am musical director for a local children’s theatre school.
The Jo Jingles opportunity came along at just the right time for me. My baby daughter was born earlier this year and Jo Jingles has enabled me to combine my love of music and of working with children in a new venture that fits around my new “mummy commitments”. It is also lovely to be doing something I can involve my husband and daughter in – they are regulars at Jo Jingles!! |
