A BIG THANK YOU

With the due date of my baby's arrival now looming, I recently said farewell to all my lovely classes which Michelle has now taken over. I wanted to thank you all for your kind well wishes and the beautiful cards and gifts you gave me. I'm truly overwhelmed!

A special thank you to Sue Dawson and friends who made this amazing cake for me! It's not often I am left speechless but as you can see, the detail on the cake was incredible! It was a real shame to cut into it..............

IT'S A GIRL!!

Well she finally arrived 2 weeks late! She was obviously holding out for a special birthday as she was born 08.08.08 weighing 8lbs!!

Her name is Frankie Ava Smith.

Frankie and I are doing well and looking forward to seeing you all soon.

Jo Jingles Midlands Franchisee of the year

I was delighted to accept the award for Midlands Franchisee Of The Year 2007/2008 at the 2007 summer business conference. A lovely way to celebrate the end of my second year as a Jo Jingles franchisee. I share this with my class teachers, Caroline and Sarah, who are fantastic!

I'd like to take this opportunity to thank all the parents, carers and children that attend classes in Nottingham and Melton Mowbray. Your support and enthusiasm for our classes enables Jo Jingles to go from strength to strength. Thank you for making our classes fun, vibrant and busy! I hope Jo Jingles makes a lasting impact on your children's early education and that they will go on to enjoy music for all of their lives.

Job opportunities

We are always on the look out for potential class teachers.

If you are a confident, outgoing individual who enjoys singing and working with young children, this may be the perfect job for you!

The role is part time and can easily fit around family life. It may also suit a retired/ semi retired person.

The position involves local travelling therefore access to a car is essential.

We may not have a position available at the present time but if this is something that interests you please contact Gaynor on 0870 900 4567.

BBC CHILDREN IN NEED

Jo Jingles always supports this amazing charity. With your help, the Jo Jingles network has raised over £100,000 in the last 2 years!

We are very lucky as each year, children from our Nottingham and Melton classes are invited to enjoy a slice of fame as the BBC film us singing and dancing with Big Jo and Pudsey as we raise money with our charity single. (The 2007 single 'Singalong' is still available to purchase on the Jo Jingles national site) The performance is then shown on the lunchtime East Midlands bulletin and is well worth setting your videos for!

In addition to this we hold a big Pudsey Party which is open to Jinglers and their friends. In 2007, we raised a record £1'416 in Nottingham from our sponsored singalong which was great fun.

Watch this space for details of our 2008 events (on or around November 14th)!
