SUMMER FUN!!

JO JINGLES will be at Pershore Library on Thursday 21 August 2008 for one hour of Music and Movement fun starting at 10.30am. This is for ‘under fives’. Places are limited so please contact the library to book your place. There will be a nominal charge by the library.

Claire’s Jo Jingles sessions at the Pinvin Community Pre-School in Pershore were well received during the pre-school’s recent Ofsted Inspection in November 2007.

“The quality and standards of the nursery education are outstanding.”

”Young children develop excellent communication skills. They have great fun as they take part in a ‘Jo Jingles’ music session. They join in the words and actions of favourite songs such as ‘My head, my shoulders, my knees, my toes’ with great enthusiasm. They identify pictures of animals and learn what noises they make and split into groups representing each animal. Staff maintain children’s attention well with use of a puppet for each group to represent their animal. Children sing the ‘Ride in the country’ song and join in with the animal noises for their own group.”

NCT FUN AFTERNOON

Jo Jingles was pleased to support the NCT fun afternoon in Evesham Country Park, with a music and movement session for children. It was a lovely afternoon and a great venue for the children with the miniature railway just ‘next door’. The NCT provided refreshments for everyone, play areas for the little ones, including a sandpit, toys, ball pit, colouring and craft tables. The large wooden floored marquee provided a safe venue for babies to play and the perfect setting for the Jo Jingles music – especially when it started to rain!!

2007 BBC CHILDREN IN NEED APPEAL

Jo Jingles supports the BBC Children in Need Appeal and in 2007 the children in Jo Jingles classes in Evesham, Pershore and Bredon took part in a ‘Sponsored Sing’, singing songs with their teddies and singing along to the ‘Country Sounds’ song, our special song for the Appeal. Locally we raised an amazing £2085 – a fantastic achievement by everyone. Well done!!!

A HUGE THANK YOU to everyone who participated and contributed.
