Introducing Jo….
Jo Jingles was set up in 1991 as a result of research highlighting that music can help the development of language, numeracy, physical co-ordination and communication skills in young children. The aim is to give babies and toddlers a fun introduction to music through the use of songs, nursery rhymes, percussion instruments, movement and dance. Classes are both fun and educational. They are age specific and run for 45 minutes with usually a maximum of 15 children in each class. The classes are interactive and we make sure we build a repertoire of both old favourites, and exciting new songs. Jo Jingles helps to teach each class and becomes a big ‘special’ friend to the children. We have lots of props and visuals to make things fun and regularly theme classes. We also have a large selection of percussion instruments and each child will get his/her own instrument to play. Sometimes adults get to play too!! Jo Jingles is an ideal activity to share quality time with children.

About me…..
I have just moved back to Stirling after living and working in Edinburgh for the last 10 years. I have a daughter, Natalie, who is now 16 months and it was through taking Natalie to Jo Jingles classes in Edinburgh that I caught the Jo Jingles bug!
We first joined Jo Jingles when my daughter was just over 5 months old. She has progressed so well and is now a very confident toddler. If ever we are on a long car journey we just put on her Jo Jingles CD and she is happy and excited “clapping” and “singing” along. As Jo Jingles classes are interactive I also took part in the classes, rather than sitting back and watching her have all the fun.
I am thrilled to be bringing Jo Jingles classes to the Stirling and Falkirk area and hope Jo and I are going to make lots of new friends.
