Hello, my name is Emma Davis and I run the Jo Jingles Franchise
in the Wells, Shepton Mallet, Street, Glastonbury, Taunton and Bridgwater area.
I am married to Tony, and am mother of 2 boys (Benjamin and Matthew).
I first came across Jo Jingles in 2001 when I began attending classes
in Hertfordshire with Benjamin. We used to look forward to the classes
and they made a lasting impression on both of us. When we decided
to move to Somerset we had to say goodbye to Jo, but I was always
hopeful we would not loose contact completely.
In October 2004 Jo came back into our lives, when, I took over running
the Jo Jingles franchise for this area. I have always enjoyed working
with and helping people (my professional background was in social
work) and running my own franchise meant I could continue to do
these things, whilst also being around to enjoy my own children's
development.
Since October 2004 hundreds of children and their parents/carers have attended my classes and found out for themselves just how much fun Jo Jingles can be. Why not come along and join the fun!!!.

WHAT IS JO JINGLES
Jo Jingles is the UK's leading provider of music and movement classes
for pre-school children aged 6 months - 7 years. Nationally we have
been running as a franchise for 10 years and our aim is to give
children an enjoyable and creative introduction to music through
a wide variety of activities.
For the younger children (6 months-2 years) these activities include nursery rhymes, action songs, music & movement, sound and rhythm games and playing musical instruments. The classes have an educational slant and cover some of the basic pre-school concepts of numbers, the alphabet, shapes, colours etc.
Older children also benefit from all the above activities as well as enjoying a gradual introduction to pitch, rhythm, dynamics, notation, instruments of the orchestra and musical notes. Jo Jingles classes for 3-7 year olds achieve many of the National Curriculum requirements for key stage 1.
Parents/carers stay with their children to share in the fun and help them get the most out of the classes.

WHAT OUR PARENTS SAY ABOUT CLASSES
'Jo Jingles is the best pre school activity we do. My child has gained in confidence and become sociable and loves to sing'
'A fun and educational class'
'My daughter looks forward to it and it's definitely a highlight in her week'
'Nice to meet other mums and children'
'The themed sessions have been interesting and well structured and I feel the children have all benefited from this'
'Emma has been calm, consistent and gentle in her approach, which has generated the right learning environment for appreciating and nurturing a love of music'
'Fabulous thank you'
'My child's confidence has come on in leaps and bounds and she has excellent speech. As for her musical awareness, she impresses everyone with how quickly she can recognise a song and sing along. She is also developing a good sense of rhythm both when playing and dancing'
'My daughter has global developmental delays, has no speech and is unable to sit or stand unsupported. Jo Jingles has given us a sense of normality in a class we both thoroughly enjoy.we've made new friend too'
'So glad we came, we look forward to coming all week'
'Would recommend to any parent'
'My daughter has global developmental delays and I was very keen to enrol her in some form of ‘mainstream’ music and movement class we could enjoy together, away from therapists and the special needs spectrum. I had picked up a Jo Jingles leaflet somewhere and decided to call.
My first impression was great and I was impressed with the information I received via post and on the phone, especially due to my concerns. As a qualified nursery teacher and a former group leader with Crechendo (London Music and movement classes) I knew what I wanted.
Jo Jingles has been a wonderful experience for both my daughter and I and we look forward to our weekly class. I too have developed and my daughter’s progress is now much more obvious than the differences between ability and that of her classmates. We need to work hard to achieve the little things so many parents take for granted and Jo Jingles has helped us reach some of these goals. There’s nothing in class we can’t do, sometimes we just do it our own way. We’ve made some wonderful new friends too.
I would sincerely recommend Jo Jingles to EVERYONE.
Many thanks and congratulations to the team for providing such an all round excellent service and helping us back to ‘normality’ – whatever that may be! '
