JO TRAVELS TO RNAS CULDROSE – AUGUST 2007

Children from across Cornwall enjoyed a fantastic day of jingling when Big Jo made a visit to Helston Cornwall to celebrate RNAS Culdrose 60th Air Day.
As well as all the planes and air displays the arena was crowded with dance, music and gymnastics.
Younger children were especially lucky as they also had the opportunity to come into the arena and join in with sessions which included instrument songs and Jo's favourite Wind the Bobbin Up and Fancy Dance.
All the children got to meet Big Jo and he was also spotted bopping and jiving in front of The Pirate FM stand.
Big Jo started his 10th Anniversary Tour at Flambards in Helston
on 25th March.
Baby Classes are now up and successfully running in Helston.
Book quickly as spaces are limited.

A
LITTLE BIT ABOUT ME AND JO JINGLES.
I
am married to Andrew and a mummy to Jessica Lily and Oliver. In fact
it was the birth of Oliver that made me decide to do something new
and different!
Until I went on maternity leave at the end of 2004, I was a Day Nursery
Manager, teaching the Foundation Stage and being responsible for SEN.
I am a qualified Nursery Nurse and have worked in Child Protection,
and can use Makaton (a form of simple sign communication used with
children who have speech or hearing difficulties).
I have always loved music; I play the piano and clarinet and for a
short while at school played the bassoon. Our house is always full
of dancing, music and laughter but I wanted to combine my career with
this.
So, I thought to myself, "I've worked hard to achieve my career but
I've got 2 children who are going to need different forms of childcare,
I don't want to work long hours and miss out on school holidays, and
I want to use my music!" And then .. I found Jo Jingles!

My passion is watching children develop and celebrating their successes.
I strongly believe children should be able to express themselves creatively
and that every child, regardless of their individual needs should
have access to music.
Jo Jingles provides this with a structured approach to music and movement
and heaps of stimulation! |
