HOW DID JO JINGLES BEGIN?

In 1991, Gill Thomas was a young mother with two small children looking for
an opportunity that would allow her to use her business skills, whilst leaving
her with time to look after her family. You might describe this as wishful
thinking but sometimes wishes do come true! She was also keen to find activities that would stimulate and interest her own children.

Children instinctively move when they hear music and they make sounds at the same time. Research (such as that by Pound in 1999) has suggested that physical movement is important for brain development. It has also been shown in various studies that memory of words and music is enhanced by physical movement.
Jo Jingles classes reinforce all these points and provide quality time for parent/ carer and child together. |
