Hi, my name is Andreas Alkiviades and I am the Jo Jingles franchisee for Windsor and Maidenhead. I joined the network in July 2008 after experiencing Jo Jingles as a customer for about a year with my daughter Eleni. I am delighted to have joined an organisation which prides itself in promoting the benefits of music to children and I encourage you to experience the same for your self. You will be amazed by the results. Thousands of children on all over the UK cannot be wrong...

Allow me now to tell you a bit about myself.

I am originally from Cyprus but have lived in the UK since June 2001. Prior to getting involved with Jo Jingles, I had a career in IT and banking. Long hours, not seeing enough of my family and wanting to run my own concern were factors that led me to give up the ‘rat race’ at the end of July 2007 when my daughter was two and half years old.

My first Jo Jingles experience was with my daughter, Eleni in September 2007 in the Maidenhead class and I have never looked back since. She absolutely loved the sessions and I enjoyed them too. Every week there is something different but always full of fun. It made our Monday mornings very special.

Seeing the benefit it provided to my daughter I was thrilled when I found out that the area was for sale. I have experience in music and of working with children (I used to sing, having released a successful Greek single and made a few appearances singing on Cypriot TV, and I used to be a Scout leader) so running Jo Jingles presented the perfect opportunity for me to combine my passions.

I am also privileged to have been asked to be one of the presenters on the forthcoming Jo Jingles DVD which will be available very soon.

My mission is to make Jo Jingles the best music experience in Windsor and Maidenhead for both children and parents.

What is Jo Jingles:

Jo Jingles is a fun and lively introduction to music for pre-school children. Our activities include singing – (with nursery rhymes, favourite songs and lots of lovely new ones), action songs, circle and movement activities, instrument playing and the introduction of basic musical principles. We have complete sets of high quality percussion instruments so that every child gets an instrument to play. Most classes will feature one or two instruments. We also use puppets, props, and visuals to aid and encourage learning through fun and interactive activities.

We work on all areas of a child’s development and you will find our classes will help your children in many ways including: language development, mathematical awareness, creativity, physical skills, confidence and social skills – with your loving help they’ll see that learning is FUN!
