Hi! I’m Leanne Flockhart

Welcome to my Jo Jingles classes in Aberdeen, Ruthrieston, Westhill & Cove Bay

Hi I previously attended Robert Gordon University and achieved a Law and Management Degree while working in the oil industry for oil supply companies in purchasing and tool rental. I stopped working to have my twin girls in 2005 and always intended to go back to work when the girls started pre-school.  I attended Jo Jingles classes with my girls for 18 months and enjoyed it so much I eventually purchased the franchise in 2008.

I love running my own business and providing lots of musical fun for many children in the area!  Seeing the joy and excitement on the children’s faces as they learn something new makes every day rewarding and and I can’t think of a better way to spend my days. If you’re not already at classes I hope you can come and join us very soon.

He is extremely friendly and actively participates in all of our classes. At the start of each session he welcomes all children with a smile, a wave and a cuddle. Then he might sing or dance or pretend to be a train driver, a monkey or even a teapot.

Sometimes he hides and we have to look for him. Sometimes he falls asleep and he needs some help to wake up. Sometimes he is shy and we have to encourage him to join in with the fun. But he always makes time for plenty of hugs and kisses when it’s time for the children to say goodbye.

If you’re looking for somewhere to take your child Jo Jingles could be the ideal club to join…The classes seem to install confidence in the children to perform by themselves as well as to participate in group activities. However classes are not purely music orientated, they have an educational slant too….Classes are small which keeps the environment informal and friendly, and each session is well structured, moving it along at a fairly swift pace. The enthusiasm of the teacher quickly rubs off on the children and most seem eager to join in.

Jo Jingles has been a life saver and really brightened up our Tuesday mornings. We have attended for over a year and been to classes for two different age groups. My daughter loves the songs (we even play them in the car) and the classes are great - really interactive, fun and educational with different themes each week. I like the fact the class size is small and you get to know the other parents, and that the structure changes according to the children's ages to keep it interesting and help them to learn. Val is great with the children, and keeps the classes small so they feel very personal. It is great to see them all playing instruments from a young age - getting to know the words and actions for the songs, and really smiling at all their favourites.
I would really recommend Jo Jingles to anyone. I have been to a few music classes, and found some were just too large and the shyer or younger children were pushed to the back. Louisa has grown in confidence and loves to sing and dance - she is even developing some rhythm aged just 2 - thank you Jo Jingles!
