Hi! I’m Hannah Trenfield

Welcome to my Jo Jingles classes in Burbage, Hinckley, Nuneaton, Lutterworth & South West Leicester

I’m thrilled to now be running Jo Jingles SW Leicester along with my team of Class Teachers.

Prior to Jo Jingles I was a professional singer and dancer and hope my theatrical background in performing arts helps to further enhance the class experience for toddlers in the local area.  I graduated from the Laine Theatre Arts back in 2008, where I also met my husband Chris who now performs with the Matthew Bourne New Adventures Dance Company.  I have also worked at Sadlers Wells Theatre.  I have lots of new ideas for our Jo Jingles music...

Our fun-filled 45-minute classes for babies from 3 months and children up to five years of age combine a mix of singing, movement to rhythm, percussion instruments such as drums, cymbals and bells and help from our colourful and cheery doll mascot “Jo” who attends every class to inspire the little ones.

He is extremely friendly and actively participates in all of our classes. At the start of each session he welcomes all children with a smile, a wave and a cuddle. Then he might sing or dance or pretend to be a train driver, a monkey or even a teapot.

Sometimes he hides and we have to look for him. Sometimes he falls asleep and he needs some help to wake up. Sometimes he is shy and we have to encourage him to join in with the fun. But he always makes time for plenty of hugs and kisses when it’s time for the children to say goodbye.

MEET OUR TEACHERS

  • Meet Sam Preston

My name is Sam and I teach Jo Jingles classes on Mondays and Tuesday's. Having previously owned the Jo Jingles franchise for the past 13 years, I'm very lucky to still be involved with planning and delivering classes and witnessing the many benefits that Jo Jingles brings to a child's development during the early years.

WHAT YOU’VE BEEN SAYING

Jo Jingles has been a life saver and really brightened up our Tuesday mornings. We have attended for over a year and been to classes for two different age groups. My daughter loves the songs (we even play them in the car) and the classes are great - really interactive, fun and educational with different themes each week. I like the fact the class size is small and you get to know the other parents, and that the structure changes according to the children's ages to keep it interesting and help them to learn. Val is great with the children, and keeps the classes small so they feel very personal. It is great to see them all playing instruments from a young age - getting to know the words and actions for the songs, and really smiling at all their favourites.
I would really recommend Jo Jingles to anyone. I have been to a few music classes, and found some were just too large and the shyer or younger children were pushed to the back. Louisa has grown in confidence and loves to sing and dance - she is even developing some rhythm aged just 2 - thank you Jo Jingles!
