Hi! I’m Diane Tasker

Welcome to my Jo Jingles classes in Bebington, Bromborough, Ellesmere Port, Heswall & Wallasey

I have run classes for over 10 years now and feel very fortunate to have a career that I enjoy so much. It is such a rewarding job, seeing the children growing in confidence and enjoying the sessions. Everyone has their favourite song but mine is Twinkle Twinkle Little Star – there is nothing more moving than a group of little Jinglers singing and doing the actions to this.

I believe that music is very important to a child’s development; both my children were introduced to music from a very young age and went on to learn an instrument and play in an orchestra. I enjoy singing so much that I am also a member of a choir.

In addition to my parent/child classes I also run Jo Jingles sessions in pre-schools and nurseries, and for children’s parties.

He is extremely friendly and actively participates in all of our classes. At the start of each session he welcomes all children with a smile, a wave and a cuddle. Then he might sing or dance or pretend to be a train driver, a monkey or even a teapot.

Sometimes he hides and we have to look for him. Sometimes he falls asleep and he needs some help to wake up. Sometimes he is shy and we have to encourage him to join in with the fun. But he always makes time for plenty of hugs and kisses when it’s time for the children to say goodbye.

We started Jo Jingles over 2 years ago with our daughter Emily and it has proved to be one of the best decisions we have ever made! The classes are small and friendly and Diane has been an absolute inspiration. She is always so patient and caring and has a great sense of humour. Our daughter absolutely adores her and is so keen to attend the sessions each week, that we decided to defer her preschool place so we could continue to see Diane and Jo!
It is purely down to all of Diane’s hard work that Emily has developed such a keen interest in music and singing. We have watched her continue to grow in confidence and have enjoyed singing all of Jo’s songs on car journeys and each morning before breakfast! We would highly recommend these sessions and are really looking forward to our son who is now 9 months getting to know both Diane and Jo!

As the manager of the pre-school I wanted to let other settings & parents know about the brilliant Jo Jingles teacher, Diane Tasker, who takes my pre-schoolers for classes every Monday afternoon and Wednesday morning. Diane was recommended to me by one of our parents.
Diane is a natural, she quickly wins over the children, getting them involved and her enthusiastic approach is infectious. Diane is particularly good with children who have Special Educational Needs, she ensures that each child is valued and that they each receive a thoroughly enjoyable experience.
The classes combine catchy songs supported by props, accompanied with actions. They also support the national curriculum so the children are learning whilst they play.
I can’t recommend Diane or Jo Jingles highly enough.

I started Jo Jingles Wirral classes over 5 years ago with my first son, Jude. He absolutely LOVED it and adored Diane, the class teacher. We stayed throughout Jude's pre-school years, right up until he started school. I am now 3 terms in with my second son and he is proving to love it just like his older brother! Diane is fantastic, come rain or shine she always has a smile and is very patient with all the children. The classes are small and personal, along with being very engaging and well structured. Diane has also hosted a birthday party for me which I would recommend to everyone! It was a tailor-made class based on my son's personal favourite songs. Very fun and very reasonable in price. The party was suitable for all the children there, aged between 3 months and 5 years; however I think the adults enjoyed it the most! Both my children have a genuine love of music and dance and I cannot thank Diane and Jo Jingles enough for helping to encourage this. It is wonderful for me to hear both boys singing along to the Jo Jingles CD's together and enjoying the music. THANKS A MILLION!

I think that the fact that my daughter Francesca (almost 4 years old) and I have been attending Jo Jingles classes since she was 14 months old speaks volumes about the high regard in which I hold the programme, which revolves around singing, playing musical instruments and dancing. In my opinion Jo Jingles strikes the perfect balance between the new and the familiar, so that children can gain confidence by both building upon what they already know, and by learning new song and dance routines. Diane Tasker, who takes the Wirral classes, is unquestionably a master of her craft. Her classes are carefully structured and well planned without being overly prescriptive. She clearly has a brilliant understanding of both the needs and the limitations of young children and they really warm to her. Even when my daughter has chosen to, shall we say, deviate from the class plan during her transition through toddlerhood, Diane has never made me feel anything other than welcome. In fact, we have enjoyed the classes so much that we had a Jo Jingles party run by Diane for Francesca's 3rd birthday and it was a big success, enjoyed by all, and is something we will always remember. I have no doubt that our involvement in these classes has helped to inspire a love of music in my daughter, who is now insistent she wants to learn to play the drums. Above all, Jo Jingles is great fun and is one of the things I will really miss when Francesca starts school in September.

Charlie and I have been going to Jo Jingles in Heswall Hall for over a year now and Charlie loves it! Diane, who runs the class, is wonderful and makes each week we go such fun.
Charlie has Down’s Syndrome, and therefore special needs, and going to Jo Jingles has really helped him. It has helped in areas such as co-ordination through playing instruments. It has helped in teaching Charlie to wait, as in waiting for the next instrument to appear – which he gets excited about. And he also watches Diane and copies her actions which is great for his development too.
Routine is very important to Charlie and, whilst the songs at the start and the end of the sessions are the same every week, which is important as Charlie needs familiarity, he also very much enjoys learning new songs in the main session. He will then sing them, after the session, very loudly around Tesco !!
We cannot recommend Jo Jingles enough and it is great for children of any ability. It’s brilliant and a lot of fun for the children and their parents.
