Music Downloads Help

Once you’ve purchased a Jo Jingles music file, you can either click on the ‘Download now’ buttons within the Confirmation email or on the Order Confirmation page. This should open a prompt asking if you’d like to play or download the file. Select Download file, this will download the file to your device.

Locating your downloaded file

Windows
By default files are stored within your ‘Downloads’ folder. Go to Start > File Explorer > This PC > Downloads

Depending on which web browser you use on Windows, the default downloads location may be different. To determine the location for each browser follow these steps.

Google Chrome
Click the Customize and control Google Chrome menu and go to Advanced Settings. Then under the Downloads section choose a new location.

Firefox

For Firefox, open Settings and in the General tab, scroll down to the Download section and change the location.

Internet Explorer

Press Ctrl+J then click Options, click Browse, navigate to the folder where you want downloads stored then click Select Folder.

Mac OSX
By default files are stored within your ‘Downloads’ folder. Go to Finder > Downloads

Android
Depending on your device, you may either have a ‘Downloads’ or a ‘Files’ app - you may even have both of these apps, either can be used to find your downloaded files.

iOS
Your downloads can be viewed from the ‘Files’ app. Information on using this app can be found here - https://support.apple.com/en-gb/HT206481

Downloading a file

Most of the time, simply clicking the download button should prompt your device to download the file and store it in the downloads folder on your device. Due to browser and device settings this may not always happen.

Desktop or Laptop
If on a desktop or laptop, right click on the download link and then click ‘Save Link As…’. A popup should then appear prompting you to enter a file name (the default name is fine) and a location to save the file.

Mobile device
Most modern mobile devices will allow you to download a music file to your phone or tablet, but older devices may not allow this due to security restrictions. If you can’t upgrade your device to use the latest software then try these tips.

iPhone/iPad
Download the free Documents app - https://apps.apple.com/gb/app/documents-by-readdle... - to your phone.

Launch the app and access the built-in web browser from the bottom right corner.

Navigate to the Jo Jingles website and click the downloads link from your account area. Alternatively, copy and paste the direct download link from the order confirmation mail.

Documents app will now ask you to save the file. Tap on the Done button in the top-right corner to start the download.

You can access the download list by tapping the Downloads button on the lower right corner of the browser window.
